East Taiari Cultural Narrative

Kāi Tahu Cultural Narrative prepared for Elmgrove and East Taiari Schools

This cultural narrative provides two types of information for your schools – that
which is of a celestial nature and that which is of a historical nature – and it is
important to be cognisant of this when using the information with classes and
students. This information is from the Kāi Tahu tribe, with a focus on Otago and
the area your school is in. The bibliography supplied will allow you to follow up
on particular references for your students, classes and so forth.
